MUCC views music as an integral part of the worship experience. The music contributes to the themes of the service and helps to reinforce the sacred experience. The choir sings weekly anthems, drawing from a variety of styles. Some choir members are experienced musicians, while others are exploring singing for the first time; the weekly Thursday night rehearsals combine musicianship, community and fun!
For Christmas and Easter Sunday services, the choir prepares festive works with guest soloists and instrumentalists. Christmas Eve features a range of ensembles, from multi-generational string quartets to folk bands and harp soloists. On many Sundays throughout the year, small groups of singers and instrumentalists provide additional musical offerings.
The pianist/organist enriches worship with contemplative music and leads the congregation in traditional and contemporary hymns each week.
MUCC always welcomes new members of any skill level to join the choir, and loves inviting special guest musicians to share their gifts in Sunday and special services.

- Sunday 9:00-9:45am rehearsal, 10:00-11:00am service
