Registration is Open for Service Sunday, March 9th!

This is the Sunday where we join in work projects around our community as we be the church! There are multiple service project locations around Magnolia and Queen Anne with projects ranging from making blankets for kids entering foster care to habitat restoration! Some locations have limited spots so register here today!

 

Here is the list of this year’s Projects!

  • Project Linus: Upstairs in Pilgrim Hall we will have a team that will make fleece blankets for kids going into Foster Care.  No sewing experience required!  This project is great for folks of all ages.

 

  • Thorndyke Park Habitat Restoration: The team at Thorndyke will work under the direction of Seattle Green to remove aggressive weeds and maintain areas where weeds have been removed.  All equipment provided.

 

  • Discovery Park: The team at Discovery Park will be doing outdoor habitat restoration.  All equipment provided.

 

  • Seattle Animal Shelter: The team at SAS will be doing projects in service of sheltered animals (must be 12 and older for this site).

 

  • Hagar’s Ministry for Incarcerated Women: The team will write out cards at MUCC in the Parlor, to women at the Washington Corrections Center for Women with messages of care and hope.  All will be invited to decorate the cards as well.

 

  • Ballard Food Bank Hygiene Repack Packets: The team (working at Magnolia Presbyterian) will help to repack various hygiene products from bulk purchases into smaller packages so that the Food Bank can keep its shelves stocked with these much needed items.
