This year’s projects were:

Project Linus: We made fleece blankets for kids going into Foster Care and kids in hospitals and emergency situations.

Magnolia Park  and Discovery Park Habitat Restoration: We worked to remove aggressive weeds and maintain areas where weeds have been removed and to plant native trees and shrubs.

Seattle Animal Shelter: Projects in service of sheltered animals.

Hagar’s Ministry for Incarcerated Women: We created bookmarks for women at the Washington Corrections Center for Women.

Ballard Food Bank Repack: We helped repack bulk Hygiene, Pet, and Dry Foods into smaller packages so that the Food Bank can keep its shelves stocked with these much needed items.

Daybreak Star: Projects at the Daybreak Star Cultural Center at Discovery Park included outdoor gardening, restoration, and help with landscaping projects around the Center and in their Elder Garden.
