Underwear shoppers, take note: It’s time for our annual collection of women’s underpants, bras and socks; please put February 22 on your calendar and plan to attend this fun potluck.
We will gather BRAND-NEW items with tags still on for the women of Mary’s Place and Interbay Tiny Cabins Village. After sorting and counting items, Lindsay Butler and Diane Wheeler will deliver them to the appropriate locations.
Please leave the tags on the items because it makes it easier for volunteers and staff to distribute the items by size. All sizes are welcome, although larger sizes in bras and underpants are in more demand (perhaps because they are more expensive?). Please purchase styles women would wear while job-hunting, working, or caring for their families.
This “gathering” of both items and people will be Sunday, February 22, immediately after coffee hour after the service up in the Fireside Room (11:30ish). There will be “quick” goodies and coffee available for those who can’t stay for lunch.
The Scouts will be participating again this year, bringing their youthful energy and high productivity!

If you prefer to write a check, please write it to MUCC and put “Mary’s Place” in the notes section; later in the month, one check will be cut and mailed to Mary’s Place. This project has been a part of our church community for 16 years. Thank you!
