Livestream FAQ

  • In order to access the livestream, open the link. After that, you’ll be directed to a Facebook page with a pop-up that invites you to log in or create an account. You do NOT need to do this to view the livestream, simply ex out of the pop-up. The top-most video you see will be the most recent livestream.
  • Close other tabs in your browser.  On all devices, you can do this by clicking or tapping the ‘X’ near the top of the screen, next to the other tabs 
  • Watch on your SmartPhone or Tablet.  Connect your SmartPhone or Tablet to WiFi, then visit magnoliaucc.org in the web browser 
  • *Note, your experience might also be helped by doing a fresh start on your device (turn it off for a minute or two, then restart), trying a different browser to connect to the internet, or strengthening your internet connection, limiting other uses of WiFi at the same time, or moving closer to your WiFi source. 
  • Press the Play button. On a Mac or PC, hover your mouse over the viceo, then click on the play button.  If you don’t see a play button, refresh your screen. 
  • Reload the webpage.  On many devices, tap the reload button near the top of the screen on your browser.  Or, on a PC, reload the page by pressing the Control key (Ctrl) and R key at the same time. 
  • Click or tap on the video 
  • If there still isn’t audio, check the volume on the video.  On a Mac or PC, hover your mouse over the video, then click on the tallest bar in the volume control, in the lower right corner of the video. 
  • Finally check your computer’s audio.  Make sure the audio for the computer is not muted, the speakers are turned on and there are not headphones or earbuds unintenitioanlly plugged into your computer.  Still stumped?  Try watching on a smart phone or tablet. 
  • Select full screen mode.  On a Mac or PC, hover your mouse over the video, then click on the full screen button in the lower right corner of the video.  On other devices, tap on the full screen button, in the lower right corner of the video.
  • On a Mac or PC, move your mouse over the video, then click on the leave full screen button in the lower right corner of the video.  On other devices, tap on the video, then tap on the leave full screen button in the lower right corner of the video.  On many devices, the ‘ESC’ (escape) key also ends full screen mode. 

Zoom FAQ

  • Yes, you can join Zoom calls as a participant without having an account. 
  • You can join a meeting for one of our events by clicking a Zoom link that can be found in our Mailchimp email newsletters, weekly emails, or from our calendar on this Events page of this website. 
    • Every Zoom call has a unique meeting ID and password that you can also use to access a Zoom call if you do not have the link Join a meeting using one of these methods:  
      • If you want to join a meeting without signing in, click Join a Meeting. 
      • Enter the Meeting ID and password 
      • If you want to join a meeting by signing in: 
        • Sign in to the Zoom desktop or phone app. 
        • Click the Home tab. 
        • Click Join.
      • Enter the meeting ID and your display name. 
        • If you’re signed in, change your name if you don’t want your default display name to appear. 
        • If you’re not signed in, enter a display name. 
      • Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video. 
      • Click Join.
