Every year we devote a Sunday where we join in work projects around our community and BE the church! We work multiple service project locations around Magnolia with projects ranging from making blankets for kids entering foster care to habitat restoration!

This year’s projects are:

Project Linus: Make fleece blankets for kids going into Foster Care and kids in hospitals and emergency situations.

Magnolia Park  and Discovery Park Habitat Restoration: Work to remove aggressive weeds and maintain areas where weeds have been removed and to plant native trees and shrubs.

Seattle Animal Shelter: Projects in service of sheltered animals.

Hagar’s Ministry for Incarcerated Women: Create bookmarks for women at the Washington Corrections Center for Women.

Ballard Food Bank Repack: Help repack bulk Hygiene, Pet, and Dry Foods into smaller packages so that the Food Bank can keep its shelves stocked with these much needed items.

Daybreak Star: Projects at the Daybreak Star Cultural Center at Discovery Park will include outdoor gardening, restoration, and help with landscaping projects around the Center and in their Elder Garden.
